My Story

Shelby grew up in the Greater Toronto Area before moving to BC for high school, she then spent a few years living and working in Montreal. She pulls inspiration from the beautiful Okanagan, Canada's only desert, where there is plenty of sunshine and beachy, hometown vibes. Having a passion for the beauty industry from an early age and a love of working with people, she knew she would find joy in bringing her clients vision for their hair to life. Her previous mentor helped instill in her the belief that you can never stop improving and continuing to learn. Through different aspects of the industry she is always striving for excellence in her art, keeping up to date with the latest fashion and beauty trends and looks forward to mastering her craft for many years to come. Shelby is proud of her ability to listen to her clients needs and work together to create something special. She has a friendly personality and a love of deep conversation, she will not only be your stylist but you will walk out of the salon with a new friend. Creating long-lasting, personal connections with her clients has always been an important part of being a stylist and Shelby loves making people look and feel their best. Graduating from OCI in Cosmetology she trained in many aspects of the beauty industry, including: waxing, hair extensions, creative styling, precision cutting, colour correction, manicures, pedicures, facials and massage. Shelby has a deep love for makeup artistry including bridal, costume and stage makeup, corrective makeup and skincare.
